It's almost here....

Save the date: We will be celebrating Aaron's 2ND Birthday on Sunday, June 7Th!!!

Invitations will be sent out soon! It should be fun....we can't believe he's already going to be 2!!

Just a little update on our big, huge boy....if you haven't seen him lately...

• He weighs 37lbs (Lilly is 4yrs old & only weighs 41!..Just to compare)
• He is wearing size 4t clothes...(yes & technically he's still one year old!)
• He wears a size 10 shoe (Lilly wears 10 1/2!)

So, yes, we have a very big 2 year old on our hands...and yes, he's a handful!!

NO DOUBT concert....

So my wonderful hubby agreed to take me to the No Doubt concert!!! I was surprised, but he knew how badly I wanted to go and he decided that he was gonna take me!! I really couldn't believe that he wanted to go, but it was a pleasant surprise and a great gift from him..thanks hunny!!

So, I find out from Noemi that Yolanda is about to get tickets, so I text'd her in the middle of the night to tell her that we are going to. And we want to take Yvette as an early birthday present!!

So, Yolanda got us tickets all together. Here we are on our way to the concert!! We were so excited!!

We were pretty far away from the stage. The girls 'snuck' down & sat with Noemi & Brenda to sit in the 'good' seats.

So, we were a million miles away from the stage...but at least we were THERE!!!

We had sooooo much fun!! We danced and sang and screamed!!! It was a blast. And, believe it or not, Gerardo had the most fun of all...he danced with me & everything!! I'm really glad that we went, we really needed the night 'off' from the babies...lol...yes, we love our babies..but we need a break sometime right???

Jacob's Art Show

Jacob has been going to Art Class this school year. He has done really well.

This past Thursday he had an 'Art Show' to show off all of the work that he has done this year.

I took Lilly, Aaron, Martina & Kimberlyn. They were happy to see Jacob's art, but also to eat some yummy cupcakes that were there...lol..

We are very proud of Jacob, his teacher says that he has a very good 'eye' for art and that he should continue to study the subject of art and he will go far. She showed us several of Jacob's pieces and explained what she was teaching them at the time. It was very interesting and fun.

EASTER 2009...

I have to say, this is one of our Best Easter's EVER!! We had such a good time w/ the Flores family...we just might make it a 'tradition'...heehee!!! Here's a pic of all the 'baby' cousins...

BBQ at Yola's...

Okay, so I have no pics cuz I forgot my camera. But, this was one of the best tastin' bbq's that we've ever had...(if I say so myself)..LOl...J/K...all the 'sides' were the "bomb" too...yummy salads & rice...mmmmm.
It was just really good to get away and relax for awhile, eat good food, have good company and just basically have a good time!!
With five kids, it's very hard for us, but we do thank all of you for being so supportive and accepting of our 'kids' and our life-style right now!!!

Daddy, it's time for my IPhone...

We just discovered that Aaron does this, it just happened last night when we were watching t.v. He does a "finger-move" like he was using the 'touchscreen' on the IPhone. So funny! And the best part is that he sings the last note of the Apple Song..lol!!!

NiTA & Neat-O....

I was editing some pics from Easter & I was asking Lilly 'who's that?' & 'who's this?', just to see if she remembered any of her cousins/family's names.

When we got to this pic, I asked her who this was? She said.., "Ni-TA & Neat-O" ...it was so funny...too cute, I couldn't stop laughing!!

All I had was 2 tequilas & a Coronita....

Just Dance.....

I had to make a little video just to show what happens EVERY time I go onto Noemi's MySpace page. It's so funny, but Aaron will come running from wherever he is in the house so that he can dance to the Lady Gaga song that Noemi has on her profile!! He just loves to dance & do his 'rocking out' head-bob move ( I know that's not what it looks like, but that's what he's 'trying' to do!!) ...lol...I can't wait to show him this when he's a teenager...j/k!!

Happy B-day Damian!

We were invited to celebrate Damian's birthday w/ the Sotelo's & some of the Flores family at Chevy's last week. We had so much fun. Ate too much. And maybe had a little too much tequila. What can I say, those margaritas were the bomb!

It is a rare occasion lately that we get to go out...& after this dinner, I'm not too sure we'll be invited any time soon...lol. So, it was nice to get out of the house & eat something other than mac n cheese or Hamburger Helper. The only problem was having to bring along ALL five of our kiddos! Aaron was the worst of all, poor Gerardo spent alot of the evening chasing him around, he is really going through those terrible two's...sorry to Noemi, poor Ollin got pushed around by our bully Aaron, we're working on it, I promise!

But, anyway...in the end it was a great evening with great food, great drinks and great company!!
